Popular Questions
How accurate is the voice recognition?
AutoPilot uses high-accuracy speech recognition built to understand theological terms, Bible book names, and various accents. Most churches see 99%+ accuracy.
Why isn't my phone connecting to the computer?
Ensure both devices are connected to the internet. If you are on a strict church firewall, try switching the phone to cellular data (4G/5G) — our cloud connection works from anywhere, not just local WiFi.
Does it work on Mac and PC?
Yes, Verse Copilot is available for macOS (Apple Silicon & Intel) and Windows 10/11.
How many computers can I use?
It depends on your plan. The Standard and Smart plans include 1 Computer License. If you need to run screens in the Youth Room or Kids Church simultaneously, you can add extra "Seats" to your plan for a small monthly fee.
The slides aren't showing on my projector or TV.
Check that your computer detects the second display (System Settings > Displays on Mac, or Display Settings on Windows). Make sure Verse Copilot is set to output on the correct screen. If you're using an HDMI adapter, try unplugging and re-plugging it.

3Does it work on Mac and PC?
Yes, Verse Copilot is available for macOS (Apple Silicon & Intel) and Windows 10/11.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes. Because Verse Copilot uses cloud-based speech processing for AutoPilot, your presentation computer must be online during the service. If the internet goes out, you can still manually control slides using Manual Mode.
How do I cancel or upgrade?
You can manage your subscription, add seats, or cancel anytime directly from the Billing tab in your Dashboard. There are no long-term contracts.

Does the pastor have to read the verse perfectly?
No. AutoPilot is context-aware. If the pastor says "Turn to John 3:16" or "Let's look at John chapter 3, verse 16," it understands both. It handles stuttering and small slip-ups.
What if the pastor goes "off-script"?
Verse Copilot follows along, but it only triggers a slide when it detects a clear scripture reference. If the pastor is telling a story, the screen stays on the current slide or background.
Is there a delay between speaking and the slide appearing?
There is a tiny processing delay (usually 1-2 seconds) between the spoken word and the slide appearing. Most congregations never notice it.
Does it work with my handheld mic?
Yes. You can use the companion app on a phone, or plug your soundboard directly into the computer (Line-In) for the best quality.

AutoPilot and smart features will pause, but you can still manually control slides and verses using the "Manual Mode" in the desktop app.

3How many computers can I use?
It depends on your plan. The Standard and Smart plans include 1 Computer License. If you need to run screens in the Youth Room or Kids Church simultaneously, you can add extra "Seats" to your plan for a small monthly fee.
What counts as a "Seat"?
A "Seat" is any computer actively running the Verse Copilot Desktop App to display slides. The Mobile App (Remote/Mic) is free and unlimited — you can have as many volunteers using the mobile app as you want.
Can I use it at home to prepare?
Yes. You can log in on any computer to manage your account or edit settings. "Active Seats" are only counted when you are actually connected and running a service.
Troubleshooting
3The slides aren't showing on my projector or TV.
Check that your computer detects the second display (System Settings > Displays on Mac, or Display Settings on Windows). Make sure Verse Copilot is set to output on the correct screen. If you're using an HDMI adapter, try unplugging and re-plugging it.
AutoPilot isn't detecting any verses.
Make sure your microphone is selected in the app settings and that the audio level bar is moving when you speak. If you're using the phone companion app, check that it's connected and has microphone permission enabled.
The app is running slowly or freezing.
Close any other heavy applications (video editing, large spreadsheets). Check that your computer meets the minimum requirements: Windows 10 or macOS 11+, 4 GB RAM, and a stable internet connection. Restarting the app often fixes temporary issues.
