Keep more than one version of a song, and switch versions on the timeline.
Sort photos and videos into folders in the Media tab.
Choose a default preset for songs, slides, and verses in the Preset Manager.
Select several photos or videos and add them to the timeline as one group.
In the lyric editor, click Song version, then New version. Each version is its own copy, so change the words, the order, or both. Original stays as it was. Song versions are on the Standard, Smart, and Ministry plans.
Add a song with versions to the timeline and a small list asks which one to use. To switch later, right-click it and choose Version. It works even while the song is on screen.
Check Use when added to start a song on that version every time.
In the Media tab, click New folder. Select photos and videos, then choose Move to folder. Folders can go inside folders, and deleting one never deletes what's in it.
With Cloud Library, folders match on every computer and on the website. Without it, they stay on this computer.
Right-click a preset in the Preset Manager to make it the song, slide, or scripture default. A star marks each one. Each computer keeps its own defaults.
The preset menus in the Bible, Songs, and Slides tabs are gone. New songs, new slides, and imports start on your default.
Right-click a song or saved slides and choose Change preset to give it a different look. Select several first to change them all at once.
On the timeline, right-click a song, a verse, or slides and choose Change preset. Only that copy changes, and the screen updates if it's showing.
Plain and Plain scripture are built in and can't be deleted, so there is always a preset to show on.
Presets with a separate box for each lyric line now show every line, not just the first.
Select several photos and videos in Media and add them to the timeline together, as one group. A group can hold as many as you like. A very large one gets a quiet heads-up first.
Installing from the Preset Store needs you signed in. Signed out, the button reads Sign in to install. A preset arrives whole, with its backgrounds, or not at all, so you never end up with half a preset.
If a preset needs a plan you don't have, you'll see your upgrade options instead of an error.
If an installed Store preset can no longer play from this computer, Verse Copilot installs it again on its own.
When your church's Cloud Library is paused, the cloud in the top bar turns amber and one calm line says how to reach support. Everything already on this computer keeps working.
An item removed from Cloud Library is marked on its card. The copy on this computer stays as it was.
Right-click acts on the card you clicked. Deleting several selected cards takes one step and one undo.
Next and Previous stay inside a collapsed song on the timeline.
Screens keep their jobs after a restart. Turn a TV off and on again and it comes right back, and the presentation never takes over your laptop screen.
If a TV is showing a copy of this computer's screen, a banner says so and shows how to fix it.
Select text in a Micah reply and right-click to copy it.

Smart Split names song sections better and marks any it's unsure of.
Import songs from a folder of CCLI SongSelect downloads or PowerPoint files.
The preset editor adds borders, rounded corners, text outlines, and a bar behind text.
Rotate or scale a photo or video once, and every slide follows.
Smart Split numbers your verses, and a second chorus gets its own name only when its words really are different. A small question mark sits beside any name it isn't sure of, so check those before Sunday. Smart Split is on the Smart and Ministry plans.
Import from other apps, in the Songs tab, reads a whole folder of CCLI SongSelect downloads or PowerPoint files, and finds EasyWorship on a Mac too. Section names come along, your own included, and importing the same library again makes no duplicates.
The preset editor adds borders on shapes, rounded corners on photos and videos, text outlines in any color, and a bar behind each line of text. When text is hard to read against what's behind it, the editor says so. One click fixes it.
Rotate a photo or video, or change its scaling, and every slide that uses it follows. With Cloud Library, so do your church's other computers. A photo or video with no scaling chosen now shows whole. To fill the screen, right-click it and choose Scaling, then Scale to Fill.
AutoPilot follows each song in the order its slides sit on your timeline, and keeps up if the band changes course. Click ahead yourself a few times and its status line reads Song following paused until it catches up with the band. Song following is on the Ministry plan.
On the Ministry plan, a song with too few section names gets a small warning mark in the Songs tab, because AutoPilot follows a labeled song better. Name its parts, or run Smart Split, to clear it.
Pasting lyrics no longer guesses section names. Pick each name yourself, or press Smart Split.
Smart Split names the whole song from scratch, even one that already has names. Undo brings yours back while the song is still open.
Songs from ProPresenter keep each slide's own label. Instrumental, Vamp, Turnaround, and Outro are section names now too.
Paste a CCLI SongSelect download into the lyric editor and the title, writers, and CCLI number fill in. The copyright lines never land on a slide.
PowerPoint import works whether or not PowerPoint is installed. It works best with one song per file.
A song's title slide now ends its credits with Used by Permission. Public domain songs stay as they are.
Editing a song's lyrics keeps the background and design you gave it.
Editing slides in the Slides tab no longer changes a copy already on your timeline. To use the new version, remove the old one from the timeline and add it again.
The lyric editor no longer puts a review bar over lines like “oh” and “whoa”. To keep any line off the screen, right-click it and choose Hide line.
Rotating in the preset editor no longer snaps unless you hold Shift. Your grid and snapping settings stay with your account.
A Case setting in the preset editor turns any text box to ALL CAPS, including the verses and lyrics that fill it on Sunday.
Long titles and credits shrink to fit their box instead of spilling out.
Your livestream now shows exactly what you design on a preset's Online tab.
iPhone photos now import on a Mac, and animated GIF backgrounds keep moving. Videos with a see-through background stay see-through.
Help opens with a Getting started list that checks itself off as you go, with a Show me for each step left.
Micah, the help chat, opens from a round button in the bottom-right corner.
Pop-up messages come one at a time, and most fade on their own.
The setting that saves service audio is now called Help catch missed verses, and only your church's owner can change it.
Looking up a chapter shows every verse, even long ones like Psalm 119.

Rest the mouse on a song in the Songs tab to read its lyrics. The preview opens beside the panel, with an Edit button.
Hide a song you are not using. Right-click it in the Songs tab and choose Hide. It leaves the list and the pickers but stays in any service that already uses it. Show hidden brings it back with Unhide, on your computer or at versecopilot.net.
The cloud button in the top bar now says what it is doing, in words: Cloud, up to date. Open it to see when your library last synced, and a heads-up if anything has waited more than a few hours. Photos and videos wait to upload while a screen is live.
A line above your slides says when every photo and video for this service is on this computer, with the time it was checked. If something is still coming down, it lists what and offers Download now.
Download everything to this computer is in Settings under Storage. It shows how much space your whole cloud library will take before you choose, and turning it off never deletes anything already here.
Photos and videos that live only in the cloud now show in the Photos & Videos tab with a cloud badge. Click one to download it.
A background that is still downloading says so instead of Not found, and fixes itself when it arrives. The screen your church sees never shows a message about it.
Songs, slides, and presets now count toward your church's cloud storage, and storage adds up per computer: two computers on the same plan get twice the space. When the cloud is full, new items stay on the computer that made them and sync on their own once there is room.
The screen dock under the live preview folds away. It starts collapsed, and one click brings it back.
Photos and videos from earlier versions stay in place when the library updates. A missing file now says Not found instead of Format not supported, with a Find file button.
No more black video tiles. A dark video keeps its brightest frame as its poster, and posters finish after a service ends.
Sync recovers on its own after the computer sleeps, shows a calm Sign in row if your session lapsed, and downloads song backgrounds onto a second computer.
A shorter right-click menu on the timeline. Copy, Paste, Present, Remove background, and Break apart song are gone; Cmd or Ctrl+D duplicates.
Songs, Slides, and Photos & Videos open in A to Z order, and your own presets get a sort menu.

The app opens straight to your timeline. Sign in now lives in the top bar, and the free plan works without an account.
New computers start with a sample service: a short Start here group, welcome slides, three verses, and Amazing Grace, so there is something to put on screen in the first minute.
Clear layers per screen: on any output, clear just the Text, Media, or Graphics layer and it stays cleared as you advance. A small badge on the live preview brings it back with one click.
Store backgrounds now play offline. When you install a store preset, its videos and photos are saved into your media library. Store presets are read-only, and the tab is now called Store.
Your own presets get a short moving preview. Rest the mouse on a preset card to see it play.
Media: filter Photos & Videos by label, import .vcv and .vci packages, and select several items with command-click or shift-click instead of a Select button.
Imported videos are quietly re-encoded and given a lighter preview copy, so older laptops stay smooth on Sunday.
Library Transfer is now included in the free plan. A verse passage that fails to load no longer lands as a blank slide.
Micah can tell what is open on your screen when you ask for help, and points at the right control.

Type a verse without the colon, like John 3 16, and get that verse. Psalm 119 and its verses work too.
Search a chapter, like John 1, and the first result adds the whole chapter to your timeline as one group.
AutoPilot: a verse you planned no longer shows up twice in the checklist when it is read aloud. Verses added during the service now show a small microphone icon.
Phone mic: the red ring only appears while you hold to stop, and it now fits the button.
A cloud icon in the top bar shows when this computer is syncing. Click it to see what is syncing, retry an item, or restart sync.
Video previews are made in the background and sent to the cloud, even if you never open the Media tab. Videos the app cannot play are turned away at import with a clear message.
Cloud sync fixes: services in the cloud are named by their date, and one item can no longer hold up the rest.

Cloud Library: your songs, slides, and presets now follow you to every computer you sign in on. Photos and videos too, on plans with storage.
Fixed the first slide of a service showing its words before its background. Both now appear together in one fade.
Picture and video previews fill in much faster, and video previews show a real frame instead of a blank card.
New in Settings: choose whether AutoPilot keeps a recording of your service. Turn it off any time.
Projector that is not widescreen? Pick Scale to Fit, Scale to Fill, or Stretch for each screen.
Typing in an editor no longer moves the timeline, quitting while presenting asks first, and a window left off-screen comes back where you can see it.

If someone else is already using the computer you picked, Verse Copilot tells you and lets you take it over, instead of quietly failing.
